How You Can Help

Since the beginning of my time with Family Rescue Foundation when I look into the eyes these helpless children I just see springs of grief. I am moved to something better for them, to offer them a glimpse of hope, but often it is just not enough. "If there are people to bring (aid) to them…then there will be hope," it was said.

Because God loves children and the poor who are abandoned, so do we. Family Rescue Foundation is passionate about children, particularly those in general poverty, and can't help but speak out on their behalf. Proverbs 31:8-9 says "⁸ Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. ⁹ Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy." Share the love of Christ with children today by making a contribution to their critical needs.

Your help is desperately needed. Any effort is makes a difference in our programs. We need your help for the children to have a better life here in the institution because it's currently for them, not an easy life. One of our main focuses for the children is ensuring their ability to function in society after they are released from the orphanages.

Necessities: The following is a list of items that are needed all year for the orphanage. Family Rescue Foundation is always looking for partners and friends who are interested in donating these much-needed items as well as donors who can help provide the financial resources to purchase the items.

Clothing – infant through teen
Bunk beds, mattresses, bed sheets, blanket and mosquito nets. Food supplies or Nutrition
School supplies (Computers, Stationary, text books, Christian literatures) Sewing supplies, Craft supplies, Sports equipment, Toiletries, Soap (Liquid, Bar)
Combs & Brushes, Lotion (Hand, Body), Toothbrushes/Toothpaste/Mouthwash/Floss, Deodorant
Baby care items
Baby shampoo, lotion, wash, oil, powder, diapers & wipes, diaper rash cream
Strollers, walkers, seats, swings, toys

Help find a sponsor for a child in need

Already sponsor a child? Then you know the joy that comes from helping underprivileged children find love, encouragement and hope for the future. We want to challenge you to take this into your heart: You can have an incredible impact on the lives of many children in need by encouraging others to sponsor a child in need too.

A partner organization, families or private individuals, are also needed to give us a hand because we lack resources to run the Foundation.

Volunteer

Our dear volunteers are an amazing help in raising awareness. We are always in need of help with various necessary tasks at our orphanage like gardening, doing laundry for the children, teaching school, cooking, construction, assisting in community outreach programs of reaching out to poor children and families, help with making crafts in our women empowerment programs, organizing fund-raising and generating publicity.
